Observations on the European Racing Scene turns the spotlight on the best European races of the day, highlighting well-pedigreed horses early in their careers, horses of note returning to action and young runners that achieved notable results in the sales ring. Friday's Observations features a sister to Group 1 winner and sire Cracksman (GB).

QUEEN OF THIEVES (GB) (Frankel {GB}) is a big-deal runner for Anthony Oppenheimer and the Gosdens in a maiden the stable won two years ago with Frankel's eventual Oaks heroine Soul Sister (Ire). A full-sister to the owner-breeder's brilliant dual Champion Stakes-winning sire Cracksman (GB), the homebred meets seven rivals including Paul and Sally Flatt and Childwickbury Stud's fellow newcomer Wonder Star (GB) (Sea The Stars {Ire}), a William Haggas-trained relative of Montjeu's G1 St Leger hero Masked Marvel (GB) and the Arc hero Waldgeist (GB) (Galileo {Ire}).

KALEIDO (GB) (Make Believe {GB}) is another big prospect from Clarehaven Stables on the card, being a full-brother to the high-class globetrotter and multiple group 1 winner Mishriff (Ire). Prince Faisal's homebred encounters the similarly-unraced Padam (GB) (Showcasing {GB}), Andrew Tinkler's Richard Hannon-trained half-brother to last year's G1 Melbourne Cup hero Without A Fight (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}).
